I dream to make an impact and leave a mark behind - something that might seem trivial yet is so disruptive that actually changes lives to be better.
That quote - the source of my inspiration for entering into the field of computer vision - made me realise what I wanted to do and wanted to be.
Education
Currently, I'm pursuing a master's degree in data science from Indiana University, Bloomington. Most of my coursework is centered around machine learning and statistics.
I hold a post graduate diploma in data science from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. The 11-month, online, rigorous program included courses in data management, statistics and exploratory data analysis, predictive analytics, big data analytics and a capstone project.
I also hold a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from GCOE, Amravati.
Work Experience
Right after I graduated from GCOEA, I joined AlgoAnalytics, a data science startup in Pune, India. In my short tenure of 13 months, I got various opportunities to work on multiple client projects - courtesy of the amazing mentors I had.
One of my most challenging projects at AlgoAnalytics was implementing a research paper - Adversarially Tuned Scene Generation. It involved generating synthetic scenes using Blender, which would act as the generator for the GAN, and then eventually show that by adversarially tuning the parameters (matching pixel intensity distributions of targets and generated images) to generate more realistic images augments the performance of object detection algorithms.
Hobbies
When I'm not working, I usually can be found reading blog posts - I love to follow technology. I love cats, hiking, playing the piano, playing CSGO and FIFA, and above all - I love to cook.
The passion for cooking runs in the family, I guess! Thanks Mom and Dad!
